The Iranian Solidarity Congress The Iranian people want freedom, democracy and human rights, and they realize that they cannot be free as long as the Islamic republic exists. Iranian pro-democracy activists representing diverse political viewpoints have created the Iranian Solidarity Congress (ISC) and agreed on a common platform for the Iranian democracy movement. While retaining their diverse political viewpoints, the individuals and groups that created the Iranian Solidarity Congress agreed to work together to accelerate the movement to replace the mullah regime with a responsible democratic government that respects freedom of speech, human rights and democratic principles.
